Employment Services

PICS provides employment services to people from diverse backgrounds. Offers various programs, including a “Workplace Integration for Mature Individuals 45+” which is funded by the Province of BC and provides training and support for unemployed, non-EI eligible British Columbians who are 45 years of age or older to find and retain employment. In keeping with PICS’ vision to build a healthy and just society which values and respects all cultures, PICS programs use a person centered approach and are open to all eligible participants. Sources WorkBC EMPLOYMENT Services Centers offer a variety of FREE, client centered and integrated employment services and resources to all unemployed/ underemployed individuals living in the community. Services for Job Seekers include: Consultation with Employment Case Managers, Access to computer, telephone & fax, Job Search & Resume Workshops, Career Planning, Skill training (must be eligible), Wage subsidy (must be eligible), and Self- Employment Services. Call for more information.
